Be A Giver

We spend our entire life chasing what we want to receive in life- be it good health, wealth, happiness, success, respect, love or freedom or even knowledge.  The excuses we find for not giving it to others are that ‘I don’t have enough’ or ‘Why should I?’  It is our own insecurities and expectations that create a barrier in our mind and stop us from giving.

Without realizing the fact that we have plenty, as soon as we are about to share or give something to others, our mind stops us, it plays tricks with us, and does not let us share our happiness with others.  It owes to our age-old belief which tells us that ‘I don’t have enough’.

This belief system takes away from us the sense of gratitude for what all we have.  When we live in the great sense of gratitude, we become somebody who only wants to give.  We become so grateful that we can't find enough opportunities in a day to give. We give joy, we give love, we give money, we give appreciation, we give compliments, and we give kindness. We give the best of ourselves in everything we do, to the known and to the unknown, to the living and to the non-living.

When a new day begins, smile and be grateful for the lovely day you are going to see.  Be grateful when your feet kiss the earth, be grateful when you stretch your body as if you are about to touch the sky. Be grateful for the lovely sunshine, for the lovely sound of birds, for the lovely fragrance of air- they make your life blissful without any expectation. Promise yourself to give without expecting anything from others and all you receive back is what you have given to them. BE A GIVER.
